About Us

We are Free Range Farm School, a non-profit organization aiming to teach children and adults skill sets that will help them to be more self-sustaining. We are located in Murrieta, California near the gorgeous Santa Rosa Plateau. 

We are a family farm and a homeschool family that loves to teach others about this way of life. Cedar Dove Ranch is the name of our family's 26 acre ranch which has hundreds of fruit trees, gardens, livestock, and a barn where we gather for events. Kyle and Samantha Thompson both grew up in this area and loved their free-ranged childhoods. They are now raising their own children the same way and love teaching the community about farm life.
